Removable Mesh Pool Fencing
THE INDUSTRIES STRONGEST GATE - We are the only company that offers two styles of gate to choose from. One which is a “one piece” gate frame,
which is considered the strongest gate in the industry. The “one piece” gate frame stands up better to abuse, and over time will need less adjustment to ensure proper self closing and self latching.
SELF CLOSING GATES - All gates are not only self closing, but also self latching. This is perhaps the most important part of protecting your children. This option takes out the “human element” of forgetting to close a gate, turning on an alarm, putting back on a pool cover, etc. The gate is also key lockable for added protection.
PREMIUM INTERLOCKING MESH – Do not be fooled by other types of mesh, this is the strongest in the industry. Lower costing mesh does not stand up well to the areas temperature variations and extreme sun, nor will it stand up to your child’s abuse. The mesh we us will even resist tearing, even if cut. The interlocking mesh is also mildew proof, shrink proof, and transparent.
REINFORCED POLES - We use non-corrosive, rustproof, reinforced poles which are considered the toughest in their class. Each pole is powder coated to prevent scratching and peeling.

Other Pool Safety Options
NETS AND POOL COVERS – Although most of the newer covers and nets are designed to hold a persons weight, thus preventing someone from falling into the pool and drowning. These products work great when they are installed and properly in place. The potential for danger comes in when the cover or net is not re-installed after the pool is used. If the cover or net is left off, even for a short time, it is not doing any good.
POOL ALARMS – There are a few types of pool alarms, but the only ones that should be used are those set off by water displacement. If an object of a certain weight (usually around 15 lbs) falls in the pool, the water displacement of that object will set off the alarm. Again, this safety measure works fairly well if it is turned on. The potential for danger comes in when you forget to turn the alarm back on after using the pool.
DOOR ALARMS – There are, again, many different types of alarms that can be put on doors leading out into the pool area. If used, make sure the alarm meets building codes for pools, some don’t. This is a good tool for alerting a parent that a child has wondered outside. The potential for danger comes if you or an older child leaves a door open, and of course the alarm does no good at all if everyone is already outside.
DOOR LOCKS – Another option for doors leading to the pool area might be an added lock. These types of locks are only recommended for doors that are hardly used. You can install an additional lock at the top of the door, out of reach of children. Make sure it is key lockable, and also be sure to hide the key where children cannot get to it.
FENCING – There are also several types of fencing available. Wrought Iron, and Removable Mesh would be the most popular. There is nothing wrong with an iron fence, as long as it has a self closing and self latching gate that is also key lockable. The only two drawbacks to iron are that they are more expensive, and they are permanent. The mesh fencing is less expansive, and can be taken down for parties, or when the children are all older.

Water Safety Tips
- Safe Kids Worldwide recommends that parents always supervise children around water and install fencing that completely surrounds all pools, spas, whirlpools and hot tubs. Safety fencing should be at least 5 feet high, and equipped with self-closing and self-latching gates.
- Children should not be left unattended in any body of water, (tub, pool, lake, river) even if they are good swimmers, and even if they are wearing or using floatation devices. Older children, and adults should always swim with a buddy.
- Teach children never to go near a pool drain with or without a cover, and to pin up long hair when in water. Install multiple drains in all pools, spas, whirlpools and hot tubs. This minimizes the suction of any one drain, reducing risk of death or injury.
- Keep rescue equipment, a telephone and emergency numbers by the pool.
- Pool alarms and pool covers can offer an extra layer of protection. However, do not rely on them to keep your kids safe; they should be used in conjunction with fencing and constant supervision.
- Pay attention to open water. Be aware of undercurrents and changing waves and undertows when at the ocean or lake. ALWAYS wear an approved life jacket, regardless of age or swimming ability.
- Do not let children dive into water unless the child has learned proper diving techniques, an adult is present, and the depth of the water is greater than 9 feet.
- Children should learn to swim. Enroll them in swimming lessons taught by qualified instructors when they are ready, usually after age 4. If you don’t know how to swim, enroll with your kids!
- Empty all buckets, containers and wading pools immediately after use. Store them upside-down and out of children’s reach. Also keep toilet lids shut and use toilet locks.
ADULTS & KIDS OVER THE AGE OF 13 SHOULD LEARN INFANT AND CHILD CPR
